First Observation

MrBeast is a quiet dwarf. The important word is not dwarf. The important word is quiet, and the qualification is that he is a bit too quiet for a vessel full of accused Sourcerers, Magisters, knives, collars, and whatever else Rivellon considers acceptable cargo.

He excels in the art of healing and support. This is obvious to everyone who has seen him work, and apparently also insufficiently obvious, because he insists on stating it at every chance he gets. He is support. He has said so. The party has recorded it. The enemy, regrettably, may also come to understand it.

The Support Declaration

There are warriors who introduce themselves by drawing steel. There are mages who introduce themselves by setting a room on fire and then explaining that it was an experiment. MrBeast introduces himself, when he introduces himself at all, by making the strategic role assignment clear.

This may be humility. It may be warning. It may be an attempt to create a legally binding document in which all future violence performed by him is classified as defensive medicine. The chronicle cannot yet determine which. It only notes that the statement has been frequent enough to stop being information and start becoming ritual.

The Offensive Spell Question

Whether he will learn offensive magic is not yet known. The possibility rests on the table, untouched, like a knife beside a surgeon. The knife is not currently being used for murder. This does not prove it never will be.
