Chronicle of Maidens

What follows is the first account of four Sourcerers taken under guard, fastened with collars, and placed upon a ship whose management had already made several optimistic assumptions about containment. The record does not claim they were innocent. It claims only that they were together, which is already the more dangerous fact.

The chronicle does not know why it is called the Chronicle of Maidens. It has simply adopted the name from the storyteller, who reports that the party began calling themselves that despite containing only one questionable girl and three others stationed as far from maidenhood as geography, biology, and common decency allow.
